General meeting EURISA 2024
Event date: 25-26 September 2024
Location: Lannion site (France) of Exail

All partners met at the Lannion site (France) of Exail, to validate the IMU design and first performance results. They also had the chance to visit the beautiful scenery of Perros-Guerrec and the nearby Pink Granite Coast.

AAS GN&C Conference 2024

“EURISA: Developing a European IMU for Scientific and Commercial Applications” was the topic of a talk at the 46th Rocky Mountain American Astronautical Society (AAS) GN&C Conference (download the presentation).

The technical and environmental specifications, and the proposed architecture of the IMU were introduced. And the latest technical results based on the breadboard were presented, including mechanical test and first electronic results.

Location: Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse (France)

All partners met at Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse (France), to validate the gyroscope design and accelerometer prototype. They also had the chance to visit the spectacular Astrolabe, the Airbus satellites assembly cleanroom.
